Gavin is 4 MONTHS!!!

Well, I must be in denial as I can’t believe it has been 4 months since my baby was born.  Where has the time gone?!?!  Alas, it is the truth.  We had his 4 month check today.  He is as healthy as can be!

14.1 pounds (35 percentile) and 25 inches (50 percentile).

I know it may not sound big, but to us he sure is!  Here is picture from his first camping trip!  On his 4 month birthday he did pop his first tooth through!  So he is advanced for that!

Ethan is now 4 years old!  I can’t believe it has been 4 years since he was born.  On the camp trip, he learned to ride his bicycle with training wheels really well.  Every day he seems to say something that catches us by surprise.  He will be in Pre-K starting in August at Joyful Mission Preschool in Parker (if you are interested, let me know!).  We can’t wait for him to start back there.  He grew so much over the school year, he makes us proud.  Here he is with his James Puzzle from his Aunt Amy.

And Nyla…she is my pistol!!!  at 20 months old she is braver and more out going than Ethan is today!  Due to the New recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics, she is STILL rear facing.  Or was until she kept kicking Ethan in the face in the Olds!  So now she is starting to get used to facing forward in the car.  She is tiny and spunky.  Here is picture from the park.  Immediately after this picture was taken, her foot landed on the slide and slipped out from under her and she went barreling down the slide.  Got up and LAUGHED!!!  Then tried to repeat the action…DSC04111

Since she will only be 2 in October, she will start pre-school in the fall of 2012.

As for Brian and I.  We are settling in to the new house more and more each day.  And meeting more and more neighbors.  We have met over 7 families already that have kids Ethan’s age.  Some have siblings older, some younger, but it is great to have so many young families around.  I think the highlight for us, of late, is our VERY dear friends got married in early June.  And Brian was given the honor of performing the ceremony!  (many of you may remember our wedding where the pastor forgot to show up and my Brother performed it…well Adam was in our wedding back then so he asked Brian to perform the ceremony)

He did a WONDERFUL job!

And because she is such a beautiful bride I couldn’t not post this picture!

But other than getting settled into our new house and being busy with the 3 youngin’s not much else going on.  We are looking forward to a family vacation later this summer and hopefully a few more camping trips!

I hope to keep this up to date…so check in regularly!
